Please email email@example.com to book a place or if you would like any more information.
Something I hear from so many of you these days is that you’re really keen to do more than come to a weekly yoga class; you want to start a regular practice at home and understand a bit more about the wider context, history & philosophy of yoga. In other words, you want to Bring Yoga to Life. The title of the workshop, and its theme, are actually the title of a wonderful book by Donna Farhi which I recommend to anyone interested in deepening their yoga practice.
You may want to find a way to practice 10 minutes in the morning or evening or perhaps you find that with time you can practice for an hour every day. Alternatively you may find that classes and workshops are plenty enough yoga for the moment. Either way, you’ll be becoming more and more aware of how Yoga can bring so many changes to our lives.
In this workshop we will spend a beautiful afternoon together really settling into our bodies, breath and minds and working through varied styles of yoga which will be deeply opening, strengthening, soothing and restful. We will also breathe (pranayama) and meditate, to deepen our engagement with yoga and explore a more profound sense of release and spaciousness.
Finally, to help you develop your own home practice, I will provide a short and a longer sequence and recordings to take home. It will also be helpful and nourishing to share advice and experiences around the benefits and challenges of developing a home practice.
I really hope you’ll join me XXX
