This Feldenkrais & Yoga workshop focuses on deep relaxation, improved general strength and flexibility (specifically yoga postures relating to flexibility of hips and shoulders). The weekend workshop is for both students and teachers of yoga. We recommend the full weekend but you also have the option of registering for one-day only.
The Feldenkrais method named after its originator Dr Moshe Feldenkrais, physicist, Judo master and mechanical engineer, is a scientific way of learning movement and developing improved self awareness.
This workshop will include:
-Relaxing body awareness sequences that make a huge positive difference to Yoga postures and noticeably multiplying the benefits
-Sequences of Awareness through movement Feldenkrais movements
-Sequences designed to encourage the mind, the entire nervous system and body into deeper relaxation.
Daniel has created a unique style of exercise which enhances well being, general health, fitness, self awareness and deep relaxation. He developed roots2yoga by developing sequences based on the Feldenkrais method (awareness through movement and self functional integration) which help you experience yoga postures more comfortably, easily and beneficially, eliminating pain and strain. The improved balance, flexibility, and strength you gain can help you to excel in, not only with holding postures but also, moving in and out of them more freely.
