In this workshop, we will take a tour of the centres of energy and motivation (cakras) within us, through a fluid and playful practice in the morning, ending with a deep relaxation and Bahkti Yoga (“heart chanting”) practice. In the afternoon, we will complete the day with a 50-minute cakra-based moving mantra meditation, to give ourselves deep peace, joy and acceptance. The cost is £25, including hot and cold drinks, fruit, and biscuits. Bring loose clothing for practice, and a light packed lunch. Yoga mats, cushions for sitting, and blankets are available at the River Room, or bring your own if you prefer. The workshop is suitable for all levels of experience; just bring an open mind!
Dina Lew gained her British Wheel of Yoga teacher Diploma in 2009, and completed the BWY Pranayama Self-Development module with Philip Xerri in 2010. She has taught classes, workshops and residential courses.
