Whatever brings us to yoga and meditation, the joy of these ancient practices emerges when we’re willing to meet ourselves right where we are. Sometimes we forget this simplicity as we mould our practice and our life trying to meet expectations, chase desires or avoiding fears – perhaps seeking a better body, a quieter mind, more loving relationships, or some other future dream. This retreat invites us back to basics to experience the innocence of being with ourselves just as we are, through the tenderness and spaciousness of breath awareness, body sensing, relaxation and meditation and to remember what that means in everyday life.

Whether a novice or an experienced practitioner, every time we come to our cushion or mat, in this retreat, we will begin afresh. Cultivating the openness and curiosity of a beginners mind we will explore more subtle, ever-deeper layers of being as integral to, rather than separate from, everyday life.

The retreat will include early morning invigorating Hatha Yoga Flow sessions (optional) as well as very gentle Body Sensing, Breath work and Meditation (including Yoga Nidra).

Friday 1st May (7.30pm – 9pm) – Sunday 3rd May (ends 4.30pm)

Cost £150 (includes hot drinks and snacks – lunches not provided)

About Will and Rebecca
Will and Rebecca enjoy teaching workshops and retreats together, complementing each other with their different styles, informed by Rebecca’s yoga teaching and Will’s life coaching. Both were introduced to yoga & meditation many years ago (Rebecca in her teens, Will in his early 20s). As a professional life coach Will’s passion is in enabling people to feel fully alive and at peace – while also of course trying to do that himself! As a yoga teacher, certified with the British Wheel of Yoga, Rebecca’s passion is in sharing an ancient and rich tradition of physical, meditative and breathing yoga practices with students of all ages and range of yoga experience. Both of us are Level 2 iRest Teachers (currently completing certification).
