Hello, I’m Christina from Christina’s Everything Wellbeing. 

I live in Heysham with my family. I have a toddler and a baby boy and they really are my world! 

I absolutely love Yoga and I teach all ages from babies and toddlers through to adults and seniors. I have been teaching in the health & fitness industry for over 13 years as a personal trainer, fitness and dance instructor and I have taught in over 10 different countries but there’s nothing quite like teaching here at home and building a positive happy and healthy local community. 

I’m generally found smiling; my mum says I was born smiling! I think it’s just my nature but I really do love to share the smiles and bring kindness and happiness wherever I go.

At The River Room you will find me teaching the following classes:

Parent & Baby Yoga:
In Parent & Baby Yoga you can enjoy some quality bonding time with your baby, enjoy a little self care and share a calm and positive space with other parents and babies. The sessions include a range of activities that support your wellbeing and will make you smile. You can expect to enjoy Yoga for YOU, Yoga for baby, Yoga together! Rhymes, Movement, Massage, Gratitude, Positivity, Playtime and chat!!

A Mindful Return to Fitness for Mums and Toddlers!

Starting on Fridays from Friday 26th April
For mums with crawlers/walkers up to age 3! Bring them with you or come just with you!!
'A mindful return to fitness' is a dynamic barefoot fitness class that offers a fusion of Barre, Pilates, functional training and Yoga!  This combination of strength based exercises along with releasing stretches for the body and good vibes music will leave you feeling stronger, empowered and energised - something we all wish to feel on the postpartum journey!! The beauty of this class is that it is an exercise class in a supportive, calm and nurturing environment and it is open to ALL levels of fitness. Plus you can either come alone or with your little one if they are crawling or walking up to the age of 3! 
The class itself is 45 minutes with a chance to relax and chat at the end too.

Yoga for busy people:
When life gets busy - we get stressed and when we’re stressed that can easily affect our feelings too. It just ourselves but those around us too. This yoga class will guide you through a flow of yoga postures designed to help you decompress from the day and fill your cup with a greater sense of well-being. If you’re a parent or have a busy life with work and commitments - I urge you to give yourself this hour and see how it can restore you in mind body and soul! 

This class is for beginner-intermediate level. 
Mondays 7.45-8.45pm 
£10 drop in

Gentle Yoga:
Gentle Yoga is a truly special class that really gives you time to refresh, restore and recharge. It feels such a huge privilege to be in this beautiful space on a Friday morning where you can hear the birds chirping away outside and feel a sense of light and space around you and within you. Yoga postures designed to stretch and release the entire body, mind and soul. This is the perfect opportunity to tune into you, stretch out from head to toe and feel revitalised! 

Fridays, 10-11.30am.
