Tucked away in Halton Mill, The River Room over looks the River Lune. When arriving please come to the side of The Mill that faces the River.
We are located in the beautiful Halton Mill, a thriving hub that has art studios, pottery classes, a massage space, a performance space and much more. It is a creative hub that we love being part of. Halton Mill has a large timetable of events. Check out Halton Mill website for more details!
Transport to Halton Mill
The River Room is aiming to join The Mills ethos of becoming Carbon Net in the next few years. For this reason we would love to encourage you to think about how to travel to your River Room session. If you have the option to car share, cycle or get the bus we would really appreciate this contribution to collectively reduce our car usage.
Bus
The 49 bus takes you to the bus stop at the roundabout in Halton. Halton Mill is about a 10 minute walk from the bus stop along the low road.
Cycling
The Lancaster cycle path runs next to Halton Mill straight from Lancaster. There are bike racks and bike storage at Halton Mill.
Car
There is parking around The Mill and up on the road next to the Mill. Please avoid parking in the Co-Housing spaces and only park in bays that say ‘Mill Visitors’.
Getting into the River Room
Enter The River Room by climbing the metal stairs on the outside of The Mill, turn right and the room is at the end of the corridor.
