  • More Breathing Space Immersion

    1st December 11.30am-1.30pm

    As winter wraps around us, join us for a two-hour journey designed to cultivate warmth, restore balance, and invite deep inner peace—perfectly timed to support you through the holiday season.

    This special winter immersion begins with a grounding, gentle restorative flow to honour the season’s natural rhythm of turning inward.

    Next, we’ll explore Marma Point Massage—a traditional practice of gentle pressure to key points on the body that enhances energy flow and promotes healing.

    We’ll close with Trataka, a focused ghee candle-gazing meditation, to still the mind, enhance concentration, and deepen your inward focus.

    This class is designed to be a pre-Christmas gift to yourself—a chance to pause, ground, and centre amidst the busy holiday season. By reconnecting with your breath and finding peace within, you’ll be better able to move through the festivities with a calm, open heart.

  • Christmas kids and toddler yoga with Christina

  • Moving into Awareness with Penny Collinson

    14th December 2.30-5.30pm

    Learn what somatic movement practice is, and how to resource yourself through body-focused sensory awareness.

    These workshops offer time to support and nourish our bodies through movement, breath, and imagination connecting us to our surroundings and the feeling of ourselves.

    Workshops will involve some touch (skills will be taught), and reflection through artwork. Suitable for all levels of experience.

  • The Rest Retreat- Kidney Yin for sleep support with Helen Olivia

    In Winter it is so important we adapt our routines for optimum bodily health and vitality. To create resilience in the mind and body to see us through the Winter.

    This offering is designed to educate, nurture, and support you, infused with the wisdom of Chinese medicine, Helen will guide you through a series of practices including pranayama, acupressure points and Yin yoga for a deeply restful, inspiring and nurturing experience.

  • Winter Solstice- Nurture You with Yoga By the Lune

    Claire (Yoga by the Lune) and Annie (Pilates with Annie Marie) are collaborating to bring you an evening combining yoga, breath and bodywork, rituals and therapeutic tools.. As we embrace winter as a restful and nurturing time for you.

    We would love for you to join us on the shortest day of the year, as we prepare to move from the darkness into the light. A chance to slow down, move your body, release, unwind, rest and reset. A perfect time for you to take a moment out of the chaos of the festivities.

    We are here to give you guidance, practice and draw out the deep wisdom in you that you already have to support yourself through the season, as well as a little self care package to take home with you.

  • Winter Solstice Yin by Candlelight with Rachel Walsh

  • Christmas Heart Opening With Rebecca Ellis

    22nd December 2-7pm

    The wonderful Rebecca is visiting and would love you to join her for a Christmas Heart Opening Yin-Yang Workshop

    A word from Rebecca- It’s been a while since I’ve taught in the River Room and I’m already so excited!!! My memories of this workshop are so heart-warming and full of love, and I hope you’ll either come again or try it for the first time. 

    We will begin with a heart-centred, tender flow followed by a break for some zesty, spicy snacks and hot drinks. We will then melt into a heart-opening Yin practice, ending with a Yoga Nidra so that we leave the River Room warm, open and full of love, ready for the Christmas days ahead.

  • Christmas Eve Restorative Yoga Workshop with Annie

    24th December 2-4pm

    Join Annie for the annual Christmas Eve restorative workshop AND her first session back from maternity leave!

    Spend 2 hours at the busiest time of year to rest and restore.

    In restorative yoga we use the props o hold our bodies in yoga poses that are designed to gently open the body, release tension/stress, boost the immune system and nurture your nervous system.

    This workshop is suitable for every-body and with include relaxing breathwork and hands on support.

    A truly nourishing way to find pause in the festive season and to get you ready for Christmas Day.
